Notice of Budget Committee Meeting (Posted - May 21, 2020)
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Scappoose Rural Fire Protection District, Columbia County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, will be held on Thursday, the 11th day of June, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. The Budget Committee and required staff only will attend at the Scappoose Senior Center, 33342 SW Meadow Drive, Scappoose, Oregon. Physical distancing rules will be observed, and less than 25 people will attend.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be obtained on or after Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Scappoose Fire Station, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. However, the District strongly encourages accessing the document on the Scappoose Fire website www.srfd.us under About Us/Board of Directors.
This is a public meeting where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may comment on the budget. The following options are available for participation.
