Volunteer firefighter recruitment usually occurs the beginning of each year with a training academy following. An application can be downloaded, filled out and printed here. Also, please print this authorization for release of information and have it notarized. Both documents should be returned to us by the closing date to be included in the current process. Career firefighter/paramedic position openings are filled by candidates from the local civil service hiring list. Application to this list is opened as needed when exhausted (approximately every 2 years). The most recent hiring list application process closed on March 31, 2007.      Administrative and other position openings will be listed here and advertised as they become available.
